while the Sega Dreamcast actually lauched in Japan in 1998 where there was a major software shortage and an extremely NOT SEGA-AM2 QUALITY port of Virtua Fighter 3tb which was really DISSAPPOINTING for DIE-HARD SEGA fans like ME right here.Ĭomparing game that game out a year after the REAL Dreamcast launch to first year PS2. Still salty af that ps2 had shit games that first year, lol?Ridge Racer V, Tekken Tag Tournament and a few others made for fine early launch titles and someone has not had their butthurt cream because the PS2 actually launched in March 2000 Japan and October U.S.A. I just hope the ports are mostly issue free at launch, there's no reason they should give any issue as long as the developers do their job properly. I'm expecting it will be similar to Vanquish and Bayonetta ports, where they can reach with medium tier hardware - GTX 970, GTX 1060, etc.Īlso, the facts that it is capped at 30fps because of the engine's physics and that Shenmue 1 & 2 are far older games than Vanquish and Bayonetta, means it should be even less taxing. It's a simple port of the games and it shouldn't give any trouble to modern hardware, as long as it's well optimized. I believe even with a medium tier laptop, you should be able to play the game at or higher if it's a monster laptop. On the Shenmue 1 & 2's Steam page, it says: "Fully scalable screen resolutions", so it should go up to 4k - maybe even 8k. I could also use the monster new laptop, it should be able to handle a 1080p30 stream! That's why I said it was fitting that Blim posted the news. In reply to Stream with Blim playing of course :D
